여러 사용후기를 찾아봤을 때 가열식 가습기를 사용하는 사람들이 느끼는 부정적인 감정은 ‘불안함’ 이었습니다.
가습기는 건강을 위해 사용하는 제품인데, 관리를 제대로 못하면 오히려 건강에 해를 끼칠 수 있기 때문입니다.
저는 가열식 가습기를 사용할 때 느껴지는 이러한 ‘불안함’을 투명한 소재로 명쾌한 느낌을 주어 해결하고자 했습니다.

제품 외관 부분에는 '투명 플라스틱'을, 물이 끓는 수조에는 '유리'를 적용시켰습니다. 수조에 유리를 사용한 이유는 투명하여 내부 이물질을 쉽게 파악할 수 동시에 가열시 유해하지 않은 자연스러운 소재이기 때문입니다.

가습기의 내부를 청결하게 관리하는게 가장 중요합니다. 따라서 편하게 수조를 청소할 수 있도록 수조 지름을 115mm로 설정해 무리 없이 손이 들어가도록 디자인했고, 뚜껑이 분리 되도록 했습니다

가열 구조는 커피포트의 가열 방식을 따왔습니다. 그 이유는 기존에 가열식 가습기에 많이 사용하는 가열 구조인 밥통식, PTC 보다 사람들에게 익숙하고 사용자가 쉽다고 인식할 수 있기 때문입니다. 또한 본체와 선이 분리되어 이동과 세척시 더 편리합니다.
